Content and structure elements

Scope and content

This series includes the bound and unbound radio scripts from Smackout and Fibber McGee & Molly. The bound scripts are from 1937 to 1953; the unbound scripts start in 1941 and include outlines, drafts and final versions. Note that script numbers have often been taken directly from what was written on the original folder. A subseries called “Special Scripts and Related Material” includes scripts for an unproduced television spin-off, a radio series from the 1970s called Fibber McGee and the Good Old Days of Radio! as well as other special programs done over the years.
